Global music icon Céline Dion is officially extending her highly anticipated return to the stage, adding six new concert dates to her Paris residency after overwhelming fan demand.
The additional performances will take place on September 18 and 25, along with October 2, 9, 16, and 17. These newly announced dates join the 10 shows revealed earlier, all set to be held at the massive Paris La Défense Arena, which has a capacity of around 40,000 attendees.
Massive Demand Drives Expansion
The expansion comes just hours after pre-sales opened for registered fans at 10 a.m. local time in Paris. According to organizers, more than nine million fans signed up for early ticket access, highlighting the extraordinary demand for Dion’s return.
Fans who were not selected during the initial artist pre-sale will be placed on a waiting list or may still have a chance to secure tickets through additional pre-sale opportunities, including those for Visa cardholders. The shows are being produced by AEG Presents.
A Long-Awaited Return to the Stage
These Paris concerts mark Dion’s first major live performance series since she was forced to cancel her Courage World Tour in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, followed by ongoing health challenges.
In 2022, the singer revealed she had been diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome, a rare neurological condition that affects muscle control. Since then, she has been focusing on her recovery, making this comeback even more meaningful for fans worldwide.
Her last major solo concert took place in New York in early 2020, making this Paris residency her first large-scale return in several years.
